Unlocking Cognitive Potential Across Generations

Brain health supplements are gaining popularity among a broader range of consumers, not
just older adults.

Age 30-60

Consumers aged 30 to 60 primarily use brain health supplements to enhance memory, followed by aiding in concentration.¹

37%

However, 37% have experienced side effects from brain health supplements.²

$18.76bn

The Global Brain Health Supplement market is valued at $18.76bn by 2032, growing at 8.5% CAGR.³

ExoBDNF® Improves Self-perceived Cognitive Function

In an open-label, pre–post intervention study, after 8 weeks of administration, scores on the Subjective Cognitive Decline Questionnaire (SCD-Q) and Taiwan Cognition Questionnaire (TCQ)—assessing perceived memory and overall cognitive performance—improved by 25.0% and 55.2%, respectively.4

ExoBDNF® Enhances Working Memory

Clinical data show that ExoBDNF® demonstrated a 66.7% increase in working memory accuracy and a 17.6% faster recall time, indicating enhanced ability to temporarily store and manipulate information. 4

ExoBDNF® Supports Cognitive Flexibility

ExoBDNF® improved cognitive flexibility, reducing task-switch response time by 13.3% while maintaining the same accuracy, indicating an enhanced ability to adapt and shift focus under changing conditions. 4

ExoBDNF® Promotes Mental Health

ExoBDNF® improved mental health by 47.0%, as measured by the DASS-21 scale, which assesses stress, anxiety, and mood states. 4

ExoBDNF® Optimizes Sleep Quality

ExoBDNF® improved sleep quality by 26.1%, as assessed by a self-perceived sleep quality questionnaire. 4

How Does it work?

Mode of Action

The gut-brain axis is a vital communication network in
which gut microbiota play a pivotal role in regulating brain
health. ExoBDNF® releases bioactive exosome-like vesicles (ExoBDNF-EVs)—tiny yet powerful messengers.

These EVs travel not only through systemic circulation,
but also directly to the brain via the vagus nerve. This
dual-route delivery mechanism—especially through the
vagus nerve—enables precise targeting, faster delivery,
and improved bioavailability, helping to elevate neurotrophic factors like BDNF and ultimately enhance brain
and cognitive function.

What is BDNF?

BDNF, or Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor, is a crucial protein in the brain and nerves that supports the maintenance of existing nerve cells and the growth of new ones, as well as synapses essential for signal transmission. It plays a significant role in learning, memory, mood, sleep, eating habits, and appetite.

BDNF Level UP

Mature BDNF, rather than total BDNF, is the biologically active form that supports neuronal function. ExoBDNF® increased serum mature BDNF levels by 33.8%.

ExoBDNF® elevates BDNF expression

In mice with gut microbiota dysbiosis, orally administered ExoBDNF® effectively increases BDNF expression in the hippocampus by 93%.

BDNF Boost with ExoBDNF-EVs

After treatment with ExoBDNF® derived exosome-like vesicles (ExoBDNF-EVs), there is an increase in BDNF expression in hippocampal neurons, demonstrating its direct impact on neuron cell.

The Direct Approach-Through Vagus Nerve

The mice with vagotomy surgery (right panel) on vagus nerve were observed to have fewer fluorescence-labeled exosomes in the brain compared to the non-surgical mice (left panel). The result
suggest that ExoBDNF-EVs can translocate from the gut to the brain via the vagus nerve.

For Product Developer

The recommended dose of ExoBDNF® for a healthy adult is one unit daily according to specific requirements.
